SetHours is a desktop utility that tracks time spent in Ableton Live. A SetHours 1 license is a one-time purchase (sold through itch.io, who handle payment and taxes as merchant of record) and includes every 1.x update, free, forever, for use on up to 2 devices. Major future versions (2.0+) may be separate purchases. No subscriptions.
New installs include a free 30-day trial; when it ends, SetHours keeps tracking in the background but the dashboard is locked until you activate a license. Your data is never deleted or held hostage — it's yours, in a plain file on your machine, and everything tracked while the app is locked is waiting for you the moment you unlock. Installs from the beta period remain free for life.
Your license is personal and non-transferable: install it on your machines (up to the device limit), use it for anything you like, forever. Don't redistribute or resell the app itself, and don't circumvent the license system — at this price, just buy it.
Refund requests go through itch.io or the in-app feedback form — we're reasonable people. Support is provided on a best-effort basis via the same channels.
SetHours is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work hard on data safety (atomic saves, quarantine on corruption, backups before destructive operations) but we can't guarantee the software is error-free, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for your license. We may revoke licenses obtained fraudulently or refunded after activation. These terms may be updated; changes appear on this page with a new date.
